"Yesterday we had a delicious lunch at the outside area of the A Tasca restaurant. We tried to get a table for two without a reservation, and after 15 minutes we got one. The view over the Baleeira Port, the beach of Martinhal and the offshore islands was, from our spot, overwhelming. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, but it was worth it. Both the grilled octopus and the prawns were wonderful. the wine list had a good selection. Overall, everything was very good value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant, although I think it's better to reserve a table before visiting."

"Sensational food. Delicious, fresh. We will definitely come back here. It's been a long time since I ate such delicious octopus and fresh oysters. Even my daughters were happy, which rarely happens. Friendly and competent staff. I recommend."

"Great location overlooking the bay. Fish is very fresh and you get to pick your fish which is weighed and then grilled and served to you deboned. Pretty extensive menu. Bit pricey and they charge for bread etc. Service was friendly"

"Amazing evening with great Cataplana de peixe, red sangria and fantastic selection of desserts. The waiter lost his opportunity to become a comedian - it was a very pleasant and entertaining experience! Definitely worth a recommendation and I would come back any time."

"Such a lovely place to eat, amazing food, lovely staff and incredible views. We visited Sagres for a week for our summer holiday and were so blown away on eating here the first night we went again our last night. I highly recommend the beef steak with a glass of red wine"
